saturday night fever

saturday was real fun... in the afternoon a bus full of kind-of-crazy upper austrians picked me up to go to Eisenstadt to play a classical concert in the ORF Landesstudio Eisenstadt. The only condition was to bring an instrument and so I went to my beloved SEWA-store before and bought a 1.40-€-flute..HAPPY FLUTE! and there was this offer I couldn't resist... disco balls in all kind of sizes...so I took a bunch of them... Mum, be happy, we gonna have a 70s christmas tree this year!!! hm..back to the story... Eisenstadt kind of disappointed me, no it was almost scary, no people, no lights in the houses, reminded me of a ghost town.
But the concert was great!! Carmen ouverture, danube waltz, perdonne mobile, incl. ballett, 3 tenors and a camera! I'm sure I was in Burgenland heute yesterday.. my 15 minutes of fame were over soon and in the bus back to vienna i heard the most awful expression for "going to the toilet big" - zitat: "waun bleibn ma denn steh? I muaß ma a stong lehm ausm kreiz pressn!" Not that gschmackig....

Back at Vienna I just wanted to have a fast drink together with nd but café bendl caught me... those coffee beans with sugar and rum made me awake again... elvis, the kurier-guy - now without his fest-der-pferde-press ID - sang us some songs, magic hannes wanted to make disappear a disco ball and the warm speckweckerl at 5 in the morning was a hit!
