I looked up my year of birth on wikipedia. - Don't ask why.

The "birth" section was particularly interesting; It lists people who were born that year and who have already achieved something in their life. "People of the same age as me are already worth a wikipedia entry? " I asked myself.
Intimidated by the long list of names, I started to read. Chris Masters - wrestler, Nicky Hilton - model, Hikaru Utada - singer, Jennifer Ellison - actress ... It soon became clear that the list could be divided into 4 groups:

The Athletes: Many, many sportsmen are listed. It makes sense that you become successful at a young age when your body is at its fittest.

The Models: Obviously - the younger, the better.

The Musicans and Actors: The avenue to fame can be fast and glittering. There's no business like showbusiness.

The Misc: There are a few other people who too already laid out their path in the world. For example: Jon Johansen - computer programmer, Anna Lührmann - politician and last but not least Nicole Peters - eroticmodel and Tyra Misoux - porn actress.

Now, having had a closer look at the entries, I don't think I'm doing too bad. Just think of all the genius that is still to enter that list. Maybe I'll check back in a few years, but I'm sure till I get to read the names of scientists and presidents I'll be so settled with my own life that I couldn't care less.
