una tarde con ....

.. with andi´s class. having sushi at a very nice place, next to hell... we had fucking 47º C when we left the restaurant! ¡¡¡JODER!!!

.. with SuperNacho, José, the cousin of SuperNacho (like a really, really manly Louise Lane.. although louise wasn´t clarks cousin, but felt like it.. without ever having sex during the whole series..and.. whatever!)
and ____ and ____ (two more sevillanos) ..PPNacho, could you please fill in the empty space??

.. with coffee in buddha del mar, which I spilled on the PPNacho feet.. lo siento.. :)

.. with my almohada (cushion a.k.a bag), my trolley (my purse) and one more thing andi used to make fun of me.

.. with ice cream at the most romantic place in Seville. Bad luck that Pedro´s car felt too hot afterwards and the poor guys had to push it.. jejejeje.

.. with a lot of fun and more perfect moments in this chulo city with people who are de puta madre!!

So far

More than one week in Philadelphia. Today was much colder than the previous hot, moist days that made my life filled with useless sweat since I arrived. But what's really scary is that the taxi driver, who drove me from the airport to the flat told me that autumn is going to start in one and a half week. Ta ta ta!!! Today, exactly two and a half weeks later, the weather changes dramatically. It's cold. The neighbor even switched off his air condition today in the morning, after months of continuous air conditioning, he got the desired temperature. Now it's switched on again, he's probably put the heating on.
Another fascinating thing are the tattoos. So, so many people have names tattooed on their arms or legs and I can't figure out if it's their own names or somebody else's. Maybe people here are very optimistic and tattoo the name of their loved ones on their skin. In my opinion that's just too silly, cos who knows whether Mark will be the love of your life, or if you'll still like Cindy after you've found out what she did with your best friend. Well, well I guess the only things one knows for sure are things from the past. Maybe in 50 years time, I'll get a name right, but till then I write my names with a pen.

one corazón por favor

going out in Sevilla is incomparable to anything. Yesterday Simone, Nina (Nina, are ou ok? are you already at home? what happende to your Panta???) and me met up again with Pedro, SuperNachooooo and Mr. Correcto Augosto to break down Ninas last night in Sevilla and that´s what we did... with success:
  • Nina had a short date with the wrong guy: she thought she´d meet very handsome and tall Miguel but then it was just tiny little strange Gonzalo coming down the street. thank god..otherwise this evening wouldn´t have turned out as it did.
  • I kind of fell of Augostos moto... jaja, I am still good for embarassing situations
  • we had Tequila
  • Amy, the English girl from Simos flat, wanted to have a threesome with Ben&Jerry
  • Nina ordered "corazón" (= heart) instead of "cruasan" (croissant) in the breakfast bar.
  • at 9 we ended at the bar where I have my breakfast every day. have to find another one now..buhuhuuuu...
  • Simos had 3 double espressos at the breakfast bar before going to bed...
  • Nina made 123807621 pics but she´s still in the plane to Germany, probably having a Bloody Mary. So, they will be on Flickr soon

People talk to me in weird accents but yet they all have the same weird accent. (The phrase I've heard most was " I caan'd hea u") My brother is a bit chaotic but yet everything has to be tidied up. Oh, did I mention that he is the best youngest, oldest brother I have!?!
I met a girl called Randy. I had a Pretzel at the market and I got a bike. A BIKE! Yeay.

I AM BACK

HOLA, monos y manas de todo el mundo!! and especially a big "hello" to martina mi corazón.. speaking of "corazón" i remember the "cazón" (shark) I had today for lunch.. hmm. and I also tried "sangre cebollada" from a construction worker.. "blood with onions". strange, but he told me he especially came to the bar for.. so.. socializing is the new word here! Like andi wrote before, me myself and I are sitting aswell in a internet café and my lips already turned blue.. unbe-fucking-lieveable.. 13ºC.. HIJO de PUTA! So Dominik called me yesterday together with Andrés - He is coming on SUNDAY!! OLÉ! But now the important things: everything is going well - I love my life here! classes are funny, my spanish is improving everyday (except for days with massive hangovers), I know many new people - some of them will be forgotten soon, but some are really cool! "Chulo" como se dice aquí! Isla was great - I met my mister "white shirt" from last year... aiaiaiiaaii and we were really presenting ourselves as real isleñas.. At least we drank a hell at the bottelón.. so today party with pedro and his friends. and my chulo flatmates Silvia and Adriano... aiaiaiaiaaiiiii... I am happy!

verleiht fluegel

my life seems to be out of control. I am sitting in a stinky Internetcafe waiting for a call from RedBull. They sent me 2(!!!) letters of refusal so I was quite sure that they don´t want me, but suddenly they need my telephone number. so... I am prepairing myself for speaking Spanish on the phone which is already the worst thing when I am NOT nervous... aiaiaii... I am freezing my ass of because when the spanish have aircondition they love to try how good it works. it seems like a competition... who has the coldest shop/cafe/bar...brrrihaaa...
So, this day can only become better.... and it will, because it's friday and we gonna have a reeeaaal BOTELLÓÓÓÓN! so, all I can say is "chin chin"!!

Agata's happy birthday

Agata's birthday celebrations, on a happy but sad Monday. It was my last day on monarchic grounds, my last time in Old Street, last time in Maija's flat with May aka "the night lodger" staying over ... I had so many sad moments at the airport and when I arrived in Philadelphia the staff at the airport was so rude, I wanted to fly straight back.
But, now that I had a good night sleep I am "fresh and awake" and ready to conquer America! Pics will follow soon, but at the moment all I've seen is my brother's flat. His wife Tanja and the little buzzi-baby. And since they're all very Austrian I can't really say anything about America at the moment.

packing and moving while "May macht sich einen Lenz"

All my stuff got picked up yesterday. After a looooong night of packing and finishing my tiny portfolio, I carried all the boxed downstair myself. This is why I have 6 bruises on my legs, two on my arms and a "muscle tomcat" on top of that. AND WHAT DID MAY DO?????? - she helped me packing my stuff, thanks May!!!!!!!!

The answer was: "Yes, Martina will come back to England in autumn 2007 but she'll only stay for a week." - Now we know.

today...

dear reader,

at the moment, this Weblog feels like a wooden leg. I just don't have the leisure to blog, I hope you don't mind and take the silence as a possible break before the flood of information you will be confronted with, once I am in Sevilla... The last days I focused on family and food, basically due to the "red heart" I read every morning in out local newspaper horoscope in my category "love". That sucks..

...Hoy dia luna dia pena. hoy me levanto sin razon. hoy me levanto y no quiero. hoy dia luna dia pena.
(today, moon day, day of sadness. today, I wake up without reason. today I wake up and I don't want to. today, moon day, sadness day)
buhuuuuuuuu... it aint' over till it's over!! Somehow I think, without my reasonably developed sense for "possible embarrasements you will never ever forget", I would be perfect for carrying out some last minute attacs and actions I always wanted to do. But who know.. the last time I thought "Wuuuuascht" it DID turn out in a mega-embarassment, but with a C.S.I. Agent called "3 months Sevilla" backing me up, I might get freaky naughty... hahahhaha.. just joking! Loco en el Coco! Watch me, pussycat!

stumme karte

and this is somehow where the linzblog gang is: 2 thirds are in seville.. Will fly on Sunday via Palma de Mallorca (iiiihhh) and from 18th to 21st I will rock Isla Cristina together with Andi.. Martina will make a shoe to Philly on 22nd for a month and then back to europe.. either italy, turkey or australia.. can you see that she might ask for a map-extension two times! she just can't be satisfied with the 10,5 million m² europe has to offer..

3/4 gone

3 out of four are gone!

Sara, Domi and tomorrow Andi - hasta la vista!

so I am the only one left. One more week to go. I still live in my tiny room at my parental flat inbetween boxes, filled with stuff from my viennese cave which I cannot be asked to unpack.. Gizmos nobody needs, but everybody has... a plastic flute, masses of 1 euro cents, batteries, one expired merchandise condom and my milk teeth.. pff. So keep it, throw it away? who knows.. so many decisions and all this compared with an overassumption of MTV.. hell yeah! Tomorrow I will finish my shedule for next week: Meet friends, cousin and getting tanned.. last one is going to be a problem so I will be a queso-chica on the beach again! que horror!
Let's wave with a white tissue out of our windows tomorrow at around 12 to say Adios to Andi! I hope she doesn't get lost in Palma de Mallorca when she has to switch planes! Don't you ever get lost in Malle Malotze!!
edit: andi had her take off at 11:55 ... tschuuuuusss!

say goodbye with a smile..

This is probably the last time I am blogging here in Austria for quite a long time and it feels weirdo. I am busy with everything. I am busy getting everything done here at work, I am busy saying goodbye to everyone here at work, I am busy telling everybody what I gonna do in Spain, I am busy thinking of Spain, I am busy being nervous, I am busy thinking about my shoes, I am busy seeing all of my friends before I leave, I am busy calming my Mum about Spain stuff although I’m innerly freaking out, I am busy teaching my parents how to use the internet…., wow, I am just busy
please guys keep me informed about everything's going on in Ösi-Land, ok? In cases of pregnancy, new love stories or marriage, CALL ME IMMEDIATLY. for other issues a simple email will do! good bye! take care! and all that

two in the morning

two in the morning
Originally uploaded by martina melitta.
So Madame Jojo's. I met up with Lucy at 9.30 in Waterloo. Just in time to make a quick stop at Lucy's again to get changed and have a chat with Irene and Tom about Irene's birthday party at (not quite this) Saturday. On our way to the bus some random drunken man referred to us as the best pair he's ever seen. Well, I'll just assume he meant it in a good way. Or maybe it's been a while since he's seen two 80's style new wave chicks like us. (I myself was wearing my leggins paired with the high heels with pride and Lucy looked very cool retro-electro-ish with her white trousers and the asymetric gold-glitter top)
After we ran up and down what seemed and probably was a dozen Soho streets, we decided to take a cab cos this club is really hard to find, specially without a map. Oh and did I mention the guy who was walking in front of us who suddenly flashed his bum? Trousers down, T-shirt up and still walking, keeping the pace up - must have been a professional. brrr
Anyway, so in front of Madame Jojo's all we had to do was joining the 15 meters of queue! Luckily David came along with his friends from Spain and since time flys by when you're with friends the hour that we had to wait seemed like having a cigarette break (not that I'm smoking, Mum)
Finally we got inside were the party crowed had already warmed up the dancefloor to at least 40 degrees. But we came to dance and dancin we was. I have to admit that even after a weekend at Techno-Winchester and several other occasions I'm still impressed by Lucy's dancing skills. The picture of us two was taken at two-something in the morning after we'd already had two hours of good shake-workout.
And what else is there to say: Ah yes, I take it the boys enjoyed it as well, because I haven't seen them yawning again since we entered the club. And I had a chance to practise my one and only spanish sentence I can remember and we found a cab straight after we've left the club and my feet are still thankful for that. In the end, I came home, had a hot shower and soon fell into a deep sleep.
So, and this was the super detailed report of a night at Madame Jojo's after seven years of abstinence.

mein zuhause ist die welt

Today a coincident hit my ears: The song "Das Zelt" (the tent) from the Jeans Team.. the lyrics just fit perfectly in my current situation..

Mach dich auf in die Welt,
in ein anderes Land, wo's dir gefällt
bis zum Rand übers Meer.
Dich hält hier nichts mehr.

Kein Gott, kein Staat, keine Arbeit, kein Geld.
Kein Gott, kein Staat, keine Arbeit, kein Geld.

Aus den Haufen der Stadt musst du raus
und du wirst sehn',
du wirst dich verändern in all diesen Ländern.

Kein Gott, kein Staat, keine Arbeit, kein Geld - mein Zuhause ist die Welt.

(sorry to our readers from London, but basically it says: I need to go!)

My Dearest Mönchen

Dear Honeymo,
Tonight I will be dancin' at Madame Jojo's!!!!!! It's been 7 years since I've been there last time. Do you remember how you used to dance the "do the bread with butter" dance and Wade was there as well and of course .... The king of porn and how we shared an "illegal" cab home and how the driver asked us if the king is having the both of us. And and and the dancers and the music and the first time in a club and the first time dancing till the morning and the beer in the tiny bottles and how expensive everything was (well, got used to it in the meantime) and the bouncers and the red chairs and the guy who fell asleep next to the loudspeaker and the first time air condition and and and ..... and how i was always wearing this ribbon in my hair. and how we sat outside the halls and how the police came by and asked "hey girls, any drugs" and how you said "no, just milk" and and and and how we met sarah in her hostel and how she had this belgium chocolate and oh what was his name? jamieeeeeee!!!! and and and ........
