yppenplatz for president

I had a very relaxing afternoon with matthias, my favourite piefke at yppenplatz. the new cafe-ando revitalised me with coffeine and a spanish saying at the floor made me enjoy the day even more:
für alle linzer wiener und wiener linzer und aus g'roaste
I had my private view yesterday and the only picture I took was when we were on our way back home. ts ts ts!
I might as well add a few lines. Yesterday I've been to the park with Agatha, explaining to her the joy and pain of dorfmoped'zn. We've been to Hyde Park, where I haven't been for a while and I almost forgot how nice it is. Almost! Where's Mirabelle? And later I met up with Michaela for a late night walk by the riverside.
Illustration and Interactive Private view yesterday. I enjoyed it soo much. It's great to see the work from friends up on a wall in an exhibition, I'm so happy for them!!! It looked very good. But what I enjoyed most, was to see everybody again. But after next week it will be all over. No uni anymore. Just think of all the people I'll probably never see again.
the deadline to hand in my studies comes nearer. next friday. I sent my diploma theses to my thesis tutor today at 2.30h. but there are still some things to arrange until next week:

Mone is in screaming her lungs out, at the football in Berlin and I am sort of full-time organising the exhibition now, so there's only little time for blogging at the moment. But what about a weblink:
At the moment, I am busy organising my degree show which will start on Wednesday the 28th. In my pathway, Information design there are around 40 students, but by the time we found a committee to set up the show, only four people volunteered to do the job. And for months Jess, Fabian, Trond and me would meet up and have endless discussions about the degree show and how all our work could be laid out. Displaying the work on a dead pig or embedding everything in white shiny surfaces are just two of the concepts we put in our black box of ideas. We discussed many variations and considered a variety of media. I don't know how often we questioned our ideas, the purpose of a degree show and why we are doing all this; But Trond hit the mark when he wrote that "We have been appointed as a benevolent oligarchy to arrange all this by the lethargic masses." and we continued.

According to "Krone Zeitung" (The equivalent to the Sun) Pete Doherty is ...
die ich heute schon fallengelassen habe:
Yesterday I spent 8 hours in the film studio. 8 hours in a very cold room without a window. But It was for a good deed - The degree show is coming closer. And it was very interesting to see how even a simple set up like this, takes a lot of time and consideration. I'm glad graphic design is still more about still images than moving ones.
Haven't been watching Virgin Suicides for a while. I didn't remember how great this movie was. I loved the strictness of the scenes and the all the living rooms in flower-pattern and the conversations via telephone.
Today I bought my own dowry, I think. Bright red picnic equipment and with the tent I bought for Winchester festival I am ready to go camping anytime.
I am awake again and while I am sitting in my room in London I can't stop thinking about all the wonderful things that happenend during the last week. I've been to Istanbul, where Lucy and I went for the 4th student Triennial. Students from all over the world came to exhibit work and exchange ideas.
This is a preview for the Istanbul blog entry that will follow tomorrow.
Do you also see your life in a pattern?
found this on my way through the internetz searching for a washing machine.
Yep, it was Lucy's birthday and I didn't take a single picture of her. Shame on me. But all my clothes need the washing machine, so I went out in shorts and tights and noone took a picture of my very daring outfit. Shame on them.
For anyone who cares, I went to the cinema tonight. I had dinner first with Celine and then we went straight to the pictures. And we saw Prime. 1 hour and 45 minutes of relationship. I got to watch the ups and downs of somebody else's relationship. Great? Boring! Uma Thurman was good though, I really like how she's playing, but other than that ... Well, I never had a relationship, I don't have one at the moment and I'm not looking for one that's for sure. And watching other people falling in love, then moving together and then falling out does nothing to me, cos I can't identify with 'em anyway.
